The handcraft products fall under different categories, starting with jewellery, apparels, home décor, furnishings, rare paintings, etc. They include products made by artisans from craft rich states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Punjab, West Bengal, Orissa, Delhi, etc.
We had our team from the Procurement and Marketing Departments visit the ongoing India International Trade Fair 2011 and see what is in store for us.
The IITF as we know is the annual trade event that showcases products and services from all across and thereby extend a platform for both the business community as well as the lay customers to interact directly under one place. This time around, the emphasis on handcrafted products is marked and one could see
handmade items
from Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, and others being exhibited and also for sale. There are some good bargains to be availed of as well.
The Trade Fair concludes on November 27, 2011. But not to worry. As most of your favourite handcrafted products will be available with us. These include handmade fashion jewellery from Delhi, phulkari stoles from Punjab, cane and bamboo products from Gujarat, kurtis from Jammu & Kashmir, etc. Contemporary dresses from the Bhagalpur district of Bihar created specifically by the students of NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) Patna unit along with the famed Madhubani paintings, also seek your extra attention
