Not Just Piece Of Furniture, But A Statement
It was a house warming party of our friend and they had invited only a few people over, very closed ones. There were hardly any known faces, so I concentrated on watching every fine detail in the house, my friends had built. They both were working and they wanted to have a very sophisticated house which would reflect their personality and would make statement to their clients whom they would invite over for business parties. They had to have a grand house, not really in terms of size but in terms of decorating and utilizing every single available space. The architect and the decorator had done their jobs perfectly and had defined the house so well, by using each and every available space. The theme my friends had chosen had subtle colors on the white background. Everything was colorful and bright in contrast to subtle smoothness of white. It gave the whole of house a fresh and morning feel. Though it was a night party, I could feel the energy and freshness retained due to white color.
They had personally chosen and brought furniture pieces to decorate their house with the tips of the decorator. There was nice and relaxing

Specialty of that longue chair was, as told to me by my friend, that it had same design which was approved by one of the most prominent business tycoon in the city. The company had made only two pieces out of which one was acquired by my friends. There were another seating facilities but my attention was caught by a

, which was little unfit there. It had too many colors which were contrasting the overall effect of the living room, they were screaming and were loud. I casually asked my friend if she could change that upholstery, but she told me it was gifted to her by her parents, so cannot change it, at least for a while. This struck me with a thought that having a well coordinated upholstery was equally important to give a well harmonized look to your house. Having an odd furniture piece can help, but if the theme is little bold and has space for acceptance of odds. With a very strict theme like my friends had chosen, there was little room left for any experiment.
