A Very Merry Christmas

A simple post--
Christmas today was spent in our home.
Our first Christmas as a married couple.
We had a nice morning unwrapping gifts, going for a walk and preparing
to entertain my lovely, cultured, interesting and, above all, kind
in-laws for the entire day. We visited with kind, welcoming neighbors.
Zero NPD nonsense.
The way it should be.
Happiness is right in front of me--just reminding myself
to keep facing forward to always see that.
God gives us exactly what we need.

Merry Christmas onto a great New Year!

So glad you had a pleasant first Christmas together!

We also spent our with my kind and loving in-laws. No insults, no threats, no emberassing mean stories. Just a pleasant, wonderful day I was sad to see end. You're right - God does send us exactly what and who we need :)

Happy New Year !
